John Jefferies

John Jefferies is a healthcare consultant and cardiologist currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Nuwellis, Inc. and the President of Cardiovascular at The Hive Health. With extensive experience in various healthcare roles, they have held positions as the immediate past president of the American Heart Association Mid-South Chapter and immediate past governor of the American College of Cardiology Tennessee Chapter. They have also contributed to academia as a research professor at the University of Memphis School of Public Health and have held significant leadership roles in medical institutions and organizations. John graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine and also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Kentucky.
