Steve Sandoval

Steve Sandoval is an experienced engineering and quality professional with a focus on medical device development and aerospace engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Quality at Nuwellis, Inc., Steve leads teams in the design and sustainment of Class II medical devices within regulatory frameworks. Previous roles at Nuwellis include Senior Product Development Engineering Manager, where Steve spearheaded the development of a next-generation pediatric CRRT device. Prior to Nuwellis, Steve worked at Starkey Hearing Technologies as a Senior Systems Engineer, contributing to the innovative Livio AI hearing aid product line. Steve's career also includes significant experience at Lockheed Martin, where responsibilities included leading systems engineering efforts for satellite projects and overseeing on-orbit sustainment of space vehicles. Steve holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
