Aaron Innes

Aaron Innes has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Aaron started their career at Geek Squad as a CIA from 2006 to 2008. Aaron then worked as a Systems Administrator at JobDig, where they updated and stabilized systems and managed data backup and antivirus solutions. After that, they served as a Technical Support Specialist/Network Administrator at Northland Business Systems, troubleshooting and repairing voice logging systems, managing internal IT infrastructure, and overseeing Active Directory and other IT systems.

In 2010, Aaron joined Healthsense as a Network Systems Administrator, supporting internal business IT and production IT environments, including WIFI design, ESX management, switch management, and server environments. Aaron later joined Technisource as a Systems Engineer, working with various technologies within PCI, HIPPA, and ITIL environments.

From 2011 to 2017, Aaron worked at CDK Global in different roles, including Windows Systems Administrator II and Supervisor of Systems Administration. Aaron designed and deployed enterprise-level solutions based on the Windows Server OS platform, developed an enterprise-wide OS patching solution, and created policies, procedures, and documentation to eliminate technical debt and knowledge gaps.

Since 2017, Aaron has been with NV5 as the Manager and later the Director of IT Operations. Aaron has successfully modernized IT platforms and focused on work/life balance, recognition, and development for their team.

Aaron Innes attended Delta College from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a degree in CIS with a focus on Computer Science. Following that, from 2006 to 2008, they attended ITT Technical Institute, where they received a degree in Computer Network Systems with a specialization in IT. In addition to their education, Aaron also holds certifications from Cisco Meraki, particularly the CMNO certification, and from Microsoft, specifically the MCP Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 certification, which they obtained in April 2013.
