Dino Ng

Dino Ng is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in civil engineering and infrastructure design. Currently serving as Senior Technical Director at NV5 since February 2017, Dino has previously held significant roles such as Associate Commissioner in the Infrastructure Design Bureau at the NYC Department of Design and Construction from August 1996 to December 2016 and Chief Engineer at NYC DOT from December 1983 to August 1996. Earlier career experiences include positions as Assistant Engineer in the Geotechnical Department at Gibbs & Hills / Dravo Corp / Van Houten Associates, Field Engineer at Bechtel Corporation, and Project Engineer at MacKay & Somps. Dino began a career in engineering as a Junior Engineer in the Public Works Transportation department for the City of San José and also gained initial experience as a Work Study Student in Facility Engineering at NASA Ames Research Center. Dino holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San José State University, earned between 1973 and 1977.
