Jay Shah

Jay Shah, P.E., PMP, currently serves as Vice President of Transmission Lines at NV5, beginning in July 2025. Prior to this role, Shah was Senior Director of Transmission Engineering at United Utility from June 2024 to July 2025, initially joining as Director of Transmission Engineering. Shah's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at Ampirical from April 2012 to June 2024, where multiple promotions were earned, culminating in the management of over 40 large-scale Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. Earlier career roles included positions that involved leadership and technical expertise in transmission line design at Entergy, where responsibilities encompassed design, engineering calculations, and construction support. Jay Shah holds a Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Gujarat University.
