Jim Lucas

Jim Lucas has had an extensive career spanning multiple industries. Jim is currently the Vice President of Business Development at NV5 since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Black & Veatch as a Senior Client Account Manager in the Southwest Region from 2019 to 2023. From 2008 to 2019, they held the position of Director/VP, Sales and Marketing at Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Americas, Inc. Before that, they worked at Siemens as a Project/Regional Sales Manager from 1999 to 2008. Jim began their career at Pratt & Whitney as a Test Engineer/Program Support Manager from 1996 to 1999, and prior to that, they served as an Engineer/Project Manager in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 1996.

Jim Lucas has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Science degree in Management from Troy University.
