Nathaniel Nichols has a diverse background in surveying and geomatics, with experience spanning several key positions in the field. Starting as a Survey Intern at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources in 2018, Nathaniel advanced to serve as a Survey Technician at D.R. STRONG CONSULTING ENGINEERS INC. and then as a Survey Instrument Person at Westlake Consultants, Inc. between 2020 and 2022. Nathaniel's expertise continued to grow while working as Surveyor III at Parametrix from February 2022 to May 2024, and currently holds the position of PLS at NV5 since May 2024. Academic accomplishments include an Associate of Science degree in Geomatics Technology from Bellingham Technical College and a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology from Western Washington University, along with a certification in flagging.
