Ryan Lyttle has over two decades of experience in the utility services industry. Ryan began their career at Utiliquest, where they served as a Damage Prevention Specialist from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, they joined NV5 and started as a Utility Services Technician, responsible for field services related to subsurface utility engineering and infrastructure protection. Ryan then progressed to the role of Utility Services Analyst, where they provided field services, trained team members, and ensured the quality of deliverables from 2004 to 2008. From 2008 to 2016, Ryan served as the Utility Services Group Manager at NV5, overseeing all operations, including contracts, budgeting, and business development. In 2016, they took on the role of Utility Services Program Manager, managing multiple projects and contracts while assisting with business development. Currently, Ryan holds the position of Principal Director at NV5, where they manage operations and serves as a resource for field services groups, ensuring the highest level of service quality.
Ryan Lyttle completed their Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering from Central Piedmont Community College, which they pursued from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, Ryan has acquired various certifications, including Pipes Plus Damage Prevention Training, AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Amtrak Badge, CPR Adult/Child, CPUL (Certified Professional Utility Locator), First Aid, Ground Penetrating Radar, MICCS Badge, NULCA, TSA PRE✓, and TWIC Badge.
