Ryan Richardson

Ryan Richardson, PG serves as the River Restoration Group Manager at NV5 since January 2024, bringing extensive experience in geomorphology and project management. Previously, Ryan held the position of Senior Project Manager at The Barn Group from August 2022 to January 2024 and worked as a Fluvial Geomorphologist at River Design Group Inc. from March 2016 to August 2022. Ryan's career includes research as a Geomorphologist at the University of Wyoming and roles as a River Ranger with the Bureau of Land Management. Earlier experience includes a Tropical Ecologist Field Technician position at the Luquillo Long Term Ecological Research Site and a Fluvial Geomorphology Technician role with the U.S. Forest Service. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Fluvial Geomorphology from the University of Wyoming and dual degrees—a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science—from Furman University.
