Shane Cummings currently serves as the Director of Northern California Geotechnical and CQA at NV5 since September 2022. Shane has an extensive background with Holdrege & Kull, an NV5 Company, where tenure has included roles as Principal Engineering Geologist and Chico Operations Manager, among others, since July 2003. Additionally, involvement with the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists includes serving as a Subject Matter Expert for exam development and application review since 2009. Shane has also held leadership roles in industry organizations, including Past President of the ASCE Feather River Branch. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from California State University, Chico, Shane's professional experience spans over two decades in various geological and engineering capacities.
