Sandra Oom

Sandra Oom serves as an Opleidingsmanager for Communication & Multimedia Design at Avans Hogeschool since September 2012, also holding positions as a member of the management team for the Academy of Communication & User Experience and as a Hogeschooldocent. Additionally, Sandra Oom is the Chair of the national consultation for Communication & Multimedia Design programs within the Vereniging Hogescholen since November 2018 and has participated as a Chair and panel member for various accreditation committees in higher education since July 2021. Previously an owner of a design bureau from August 1995 to January 2016, Sandra Oom has also contributed to the Design Academy Eindhoven as a Hogeschooldocent. Educational credentials include advanced studies in oversight from UMIO at Maastricht University and Diversity & Inclusion at Leiden University, among others, with an MFA earned summa cum laude from Academie St. Joost Breda.
