Scott Barrett is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at nVent since February 2015, Scott oversees the scheduling and design activities of eight engineers while addressing customer engineering issues. Previously, Scott held various roles at Pentair from December 2000 to February 2015, including Program Development Manager and Engineering Manager, as well as Lead Design Engineer and Engineer 2, gaining extensive expertise in electronic systems enclosure design, project workload management, and customer interface. Scott began an engineering career as Engineer 1, focusing on 19" rackmount enclosure development. Scott holds an MBA from Bryant University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
