Ankani Chattoraj

Ankani Chattoraj is a Sr Data Science Engineer specializing in Autonomous Vehicles Behavior Testing at NVIDIA since September 2022. Previously, Ankani served as a Research Engineer at Perceptive Automata, focusing on pedestrian behavior in complex driving environments and social driving characteristics from January to June 2022. Ankani’s academic background includes a postdoctoral fellowship and research assistantship at the University of Rochester from September 2015 to January 2022, studying perceptual biases and neural network modeling for decision-making. Ankani also worked as a research assistant at Chalmers University of Technology, contributing to machine learning applications. Ankani holds a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Rochester and a Master’s degree in Applications of Mathematics from Chennai Mathematical Institute, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from St. Xavier's College.
