Asher Mancinelli

HPC Compiler Engineer

Asher Mancinelli is a Compiler Engineer at NVIDIA, where they develop the NVHPC compiler suite for CPU performance on target hardware. Previously, Asher served as the Software Stack Thrust Lead for ExaSGD at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, earning PNNL's highest internal performance award three times and acting as a finalist for the Influencer of the Year award. They also held roles as a Research Computing Intern, where they worked on neural networks and simulation optimizations, and as a Financial Analyst/Data Science intern at Micron Technology. Asher is currently volunteering as a Student Advisor at Portland State University, guiding undergraduate students in software development and industry practices. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Eastern Washington University and Whitworth University.
