Bita Darvish Rouhani is a Distinguished Engineer at NVIDIA, where they lead algorithmic co-design teams optimizing AI supercomputers for large-scale training and inferencing. With over a decade of R&D experience in AI hardware and software, Bita co-founded and led the OCP MX consortium, standardizing the industry’s first set of 4- and 6-bit data types for AI. Previously, Bita held various impactful roles at Microsoft, including leading initiatives for Project Brainwave and contributing to the design of custom silicon for cloud AI hardware. Bita is currently pursuing advanced degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University, Sharif University of Technology, and the University of California, San Diego.
