Brian Zimmer

Brian Zimmer is a Principal Research Scientist at NVIDIA, where they focus on energy-efficient digital design within the Circuits Research Group. They earned both an M.S. and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer sciences from UC Berkeley in 2012 and 2015, respectively. Prior to their current role, Brian was a Senior Research Scientist at NVIDIA, where they worked on soft error resiliency and low power digital design. Brian also gained valuable experience as a self-taught web developer, completing over 300 projects while pursuing their undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at UC Davis, where they graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
