Christopher Bate is a Senior Deep Learning Software Engineer at NVIDIA, where they focus on deep learning inference acceleration and contribute to major open source projects like Tensorflow and MLIR. They are currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Previously, Christopher worked as a Research Engineer at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they developed control software for a distributed sensor network and served as a teaching assistant in machine learning. They also gained experience as a software engineering intern at Uber, where they built a framework for object detection models.
