Deepu Talla

VP & GM, Embedded & Edge Computing at Nvidia

Deepu Talla is the Vice President and General Manager of Embedded and Edge Computing at Nvidia. Deepu was previously with Texas Instruments for twelve years, where they served as the General Manager for OMAP Google HUB. In this role, they were responsible for deploying various Google assets such as Android on OMAP for smartphone, tablet, automotive, and various embedded markets.

At Texas Instruments, Deepu Talla fully owned all software product management and R&D on all OMAP variants for all markets. Some of the products they launched in 2012 include the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9/HD/Fire2, Barnes & Noble Nook HD+/HD, Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7/10, Archos XS 101, Google Nexus Q, and Kobo Arc.

Deepu Talla has a long history of experience in the technology industry, and their experience with Texas Instruments has made him a valuable asset to Nvidia.

Deepu Talla studied computer engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned their Ph.D. Deepu also has a MS in electrical engineering from Villanova University, and a BE in electronics and communication engineering from Andhra University.

They work with Partho Mishra - VP, Engineering, John Spitzer - VP, Developer and Performance Technology, and Sonu Nayyar - SVP & CIO. Their manager is Michael Kagan, Chief Technology Officer.
