Di Zeng is a seasoned software engineer and manager with extensive experience in robotics and localization systems. Currently serving as a Manager and former Sr. Systems Software Engineer at NVIDIA since August 2021, Di Zeng previously held the role of Senior Software Engineer at DeepMap, Inc. from January 2017 until its acquisition by NVIDIA, focusing on localizer-related software and customer support. Earlier career highlights include developing the first version of an on-vehicle live localization system at DeepMap and serving as Founding Software Engineer at Transcend Robotics, where integration of ROS for ARTI robots and automation systems was achieved. Additionally, Di Zeng worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, contributing to advanced planning algorithms for Unmanned Ground Vehicles.
