Eric Saxe

Eric Saxe is a seasoned technology executive with a strong background in engineering leadership, particularly in cloud and operating system technologies. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Engineering for NVIDIA's GPU Cloud Platform since August 2018, Eric oversees the development of a globally-deployed cloud infrastructure supporting NVIDIA's cloud gaming services. Prior roles include Director of R&D at VMware, where Eric managed core engineering for vCenter, and Director of Engineering at Oracle, focusing on OpenStack cloud technology for Solaris. Eric's earlier experience includes a technical lead position at Sun Microsystems, guiding Solaris kernel development, and a system administration internship at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. Educational credentials include an Executive Program from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, an Executive Program from IESE Business School, and a BS in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
