James Chambers

Vice President, Silicon Engineering And Sourcing

James Chambers is an accomplished leader in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Vice President of Silicon Engineering and Sourcing at NVIDIA since October 2023. Prior to this role, James has had an extensive tenure at AMD from 2010, notably as Senior Director of Client Product Management, Foundry Technology and Operations, and GlobalFoundries Technologies, where leadership drove product roadmaps and optimized foundry technologies. Previously, James contributed to Texas Instruments from 2000 to 2010, holding roles such as Engineering Manager in Front End Process Technology and Senior Member of the Technical Staff in Silicon Technology Research and Development, where foundational technological advancements resulted in numerous patents and publications. James holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering focused on Semiconductor Processing and Physics from North Carolina State University, as well as a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of New Mexico.
