John Hu

John Hu is a highly experienced professional in the field of advanced technology, currently serving as a Committee Member for the IEEE International Electron Devices Meetings since February 2015. As the Director of Advanced Technology at Nvidia Corp since 2005, John Hu has overseen research and development in Advanced IC Process Technologies, focusing on Design For Manufacturing and technology/product integration in advanced technology nodes for GPUs and SoCs. Prior experience includes various board positions with the University of Science and Technology of China Alumni Foundation from 2003 to 2007, engineering roles at Sun Microsystems and LSI Logic Corporation, and a position as a Process Engineer at Siltronics. John Hu holds a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from Auburn University and a BS in Solid State Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
