Jon Coons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in AI and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in AI Inferencing at NVIDIA since October 2023, Jon focuses on optimizing and accelerating inferencing for various models across the Americas using the Nvidia Triton Inference Server. Prior to this role, Jon worked at Microsoft from August 2021 to October 2023 as an Azure AI & Machine Learning Global Black Belt and also held the position of Azure IoT - Global Black Belt. Earlier in Jon's career, experience included roles such as IoT Technical Consultant and Solutions Architect at Verizon's Wireless Business Group and Regional Account Development at Submittal Exchange. Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Science degree from the University of Denver.
