Joseph Trapasso

Joseph Trapasso is a Senior ASIC Design Engineer at NVIDIA, with a career spanning from January 2007 to the present. Joseph has held various roles, including ASIC bringup lead for the GTX-800m series and has contributed to hardware module designs focusing on configurability and scalability. Previously, Joseph worked as a Verif Engineer, simulating and debugging full-chip designs, and also held a position as a 3D Performance Architect, running simulations to ensure graphics processors met performance requirements. Prior experience includes an internship as a Performance Architect at AMD and multiple internships at NVIDIA and Westinghouse Electric Company, covering hardware, architecture, and safety roles. Joseph holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, completed in 2006.
