Karthick Iyer

VP, Engineering at Nvidia

Karthick Iyer is currently the VP of Engineering at Nvidia. Karthick has previously served as the Head of OS and Technologies at Amazon Lab126, and as Vice President - Global Systems at Cyngn.

Iyer began their career in software development and QA, and has since accrued over 15 years of experience in leadership positions in the tech industry. Karthick has led teams of engineers across the globe, overseeing the development and launch of products for Amazon, Cyngn, and now Nvidia.

Iyer is known for their focus on quality assurance, and has established KPIs and dashboards to monitor the overall health of software releases and device launches. Karthick has also been instrumental in setting up dev. automation teams to work on preflight automated test cases and CI environments.

Under Iyer's leadership, Amazon's FireOS software team grew to 350+ members across US, India, and China. Karthick also played a key role in establishing Cyngn's India office in Bangalore, and was the architect of the Mod Ready program to launch mod capable devices.

Iyer holds a degree in Computer Science from Bangalore University.

Karthick Iyer has an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles - The Anderson School of Management, an M.S. from Clemson University, and a B.S from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.

Karthick Iyer reports to Michael Kagan, Chief Technology Officer. They are on a team with Jeff Fisher - SVP, GeForce, Ian Buck - VP, Accelerated Computing, and Deepu Talla - VP & GM, Embedded & Edge Computing.
