Ken Xu is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in the 3D graphics and animation industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Development at NVIDIA since November 2019, Ken is responsible for engineering projects such as the NVIDIA Mega Robotics Blueprint and OmniGraph. Prior to this role, Ken worked at SideFX Software, where as Director of Software Development, notable contributions included leading the development of the Houdini Engine and PilotPDG products. Ken’s previous experience also includes roles at Ubisoft as an Animation Developer, focusing on game production challenges, and at Autodesk, where as Lead Developer, Ken contributed to the character animation team and was instrumental in the early development of the SketchBook Pro project. Ken began the career at 3DNA as a Software Engineer, developing a 3D interface for Windows. Ken holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Graphics from the University of Toronto, along with an Honours Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
