Kumar Aatish

Kumar Aatish is an Analytics Libraries / CUDA Software Engineer at NVIDIA, specializing in parallel computing technologies such as GPGPU, CUDA, and OpenCL. They have extensive experience in numerical and graph analytic algorithms, having previously worked at HCL Technologies, where they implemented RAID 6 using OpenCL, and at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where they accelerated Ptychography Imaging algorithms with CUDA. They also served as a Research Scientist at Georgia Institute of Technology, developing graph libraries for Nvidia GPUs under the DARPA Hive Program, and worked at ArrayFire on GPU-based projects funded by DARPA grants. Kumar holds a Bachelor’s degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a Master’s degree from the University of California, San Diego.
