Laksshman Sundaram

Laksshman Sundaram is the Director of Applied Research at Nvidia, leading the Bio Foundations Models Research Team in developing advanced models for cell foundation and RNA medicine. They previously served as a Principal Investigator at Illumina's Artificial Intelligence Laboratory for Genome Interpretation, where they spearheaded a multidisciplinary team to decode human genetic variants. Laksshman has also held roles at Stanford University as a Research Assistant and has extensive experience in AI and deep learning across various sectors. They earned a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as a Master's from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's from Anna University.
