Liila Torabi

Liila Torabi is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering at NVIDIA since September 2017, and previously held the position of Senior Product Manager for Isaac. Prior roles include Computer Vision Scientist at GE Global Research, where Liila contributed to advanced computer vision algorithms and techniques. Liila's earlier experience encompasses roles as a Research Scientist at Net-Scale Technologies, Inc., Sessional Instructor and Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University, and various engineering positions focused on automation and hardware development at companies such as Farineh Sanat Engineering Co, Rasmara, HesCo, and DigitronCo. Liila holds a PhD in Engineering Science with a focus on Robotics from Simon Fraser University, along with an MSc in Computer Engineering and a BASc in Electrical Engineering, highlighting a solid academic foundation in the field.
