Manuel Binna is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and technology industries. Currently working as a Senior System Software Engineer at NVIDIA since July 2022, Manuel contributes to the platform software team for the NVIDIA DRIVE AV Solution (NDAS) product group. Previously, at BMW Group from August 2014 to May 2022, Manuel held roles including Software Architect, where responsibilities included leading the porting of autonomous driving software from Linux to QNX, optimizing Linux systems for real-time performance, and developing code for autonomous driving features. Manuel also co-founded a software architecture community to enhance scalability and sustainability. Earlier experiences include developing mobile iOS applications at 9elements and implementing security modules for BMW vehicle apps. Manuel began a career in software engineering while pursuing a Dipl.-Ing. in IT Security at Ruhr University Bochum from 2004 to 2011.
