Max Steele

Max Steele, PhD, is currently a PhD student at The University of Texas at Dallas, focusing on quantifying human ambulation through computer vision, machine learning, and digital signal processing. They serve as a Senior Technical Instructor at NVIDIA, where they engage in AI and data center education. Previously, Max worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and a Teaching Assistant, helping students succeed in various engineering courses. Their undergraduate research included developing a parking lot occupancy detection system utilizing convolutional neural networks. Max holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and The University of Texas at Dallas, respectively.
