Mehrdad Hessar

Mehrdad Hessar is a Senior Software Engineer at NVIDIA, specializing in leveraging generative AI technologies to drive impactful change. Previously, they served as a Staff MLSys Engineer at OctoAI, where their work focused on optimizing machine learning model deployments. Mehrdad earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington, where their research revolved around low-power wireless networks and embedded devices for IoT applications. In addition, they have held various roles as a research intern at notable companies such as Microsoft and Google, and contributed as a teaching assistant at multiple institutions.
