Nick Haemel

Nick Haemel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in camera, imaging, deep learning, and computer vision technologies. Currently serving as Vice President of Medical Imaging and System Software at NVIDIA since 2010, Nick has held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Director of Graphics, Camera, and Imaging Software, where responsibilities encompassed building comprehensive solutions for automotive and mobile applications. Prior to NVIDIA, Nick contributed to Sony Creative Software as a Software Engineering Manager and held various positions in AMD and ATI, leading initiatives in graphics programming and software development. In addition to technical roles, Nick has been active in community service, serving on the Board of Regents at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and as a committee member for Wisconsin Water for the World, which focuses on improving access to clean water in Guatemala. Nick holds an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business and a BS in Computer Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
