Niranjan Avadhanam

Niranjan Avadhanam is a Senior Director of Engineering at NVIDIA, specializing in Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Automotive and multimodal conversational AI systems since August 2017. Previously, Niranjan held the position of Director of Engineering at Intel Corporation, focusing on Cellular Baseband and Mobile Audio Processing from September 2013 to August 2017. Prior to that, Niranjan worked at NVIDIA as a Senior System SW Manager, developing video/game streaming and multimedia system software. Experience also includes roles at Spreadtrum Communications, Novafora, Freescale Semiconductor, Centillium Communications, and a summer internship at IBM. Niranjan earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
