Peter Weigel

Peter Weigel is a Senior Photonic Device Designer at NVIDIA, where they focus on the design and testing of optical and electro-optical high-speed circuits. They have a strong background in research, having served as a Research Engineer at the University of California San Diego and as a Microdevices Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Peter's previous roles include managing R&D Engineering at PsiQuantum and various internships at General Electric and GE Transportation. They hold a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California San Diego, where they also completed a Master of Science degree.
