Phil Kates has over two decades of experience in IT, DevOps, Software Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Currently, as a Principal SRE at NVIDIA, they focus on observability and DGX Cloud. Previously, Phil held various roles including Senior SRE Manager at Carta, where they managed multiple teams and led initiatives for the CartaX Liquidity Platform. They also contributed significantly as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Airware, a Senior SRE and Tech Lead Manager at Cruise Automation, and a Cloud Platform Lead at Goldman Sachs. Phil holds degrees in Economics and Information Systems from Indian River State College.
