Risa Sato

Risa Sato is an AI/DL Algorithm Director at NVIDIA, where they focus on applied research in perception and computer vision within robotics. Previously, Risa held roles as a Senior Engineering Manager and as a Multimedia R&D Engineer at Qualcomm, contributing to product development and application research in machine learning and computer vision. Risa also served as the Director of Computer Vision and Deep Learning Research at AIG, emphasizing the development of AI solutions for property risk management. They earned a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, specializing in signal/image processing and machine learning.
