Robert Ober is a highly experienced technology executive with a strong background in systems architecture and corporate strategy. Currently serving on the OCP Advisory Board at the Open Compute Project Foundation since April 2024, Robert has been the Chief Platform Architect for Datacenter Products at NVIDIA since March 2016, where responsibilities include serving as Chief Architect for Hyperscale Datacenters. Previously, roles at organizations such as IEEE Hot Chips Conference, SanDisk, LSI Corp, AMD, Infineon Technologies, and Apple reflect extensive experience in advanced R&D, enterprise technology strategy, and collaboration with key OEMs. Robert holds a BASc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
