Rudy Pei

Rudy Pei is currently a Senior Deep Learning Algorithm Engineer at NVIDIA, focusing on optimizing inference for large language models. Previously, Rudy served as a Senior ML Research Engineer at BrainChip, where they led efforts to scale state-space networks for various audio and language tasks while preparing multiple patents and papers. Rudy holds a background in machine learning research and engineering, with past roles as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California San Diego and a Research Support Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they contributed to projects in neuromorphic computing and quantum mechanics. Rudy's academic experience includes work at Fleetwood Park Secondary School and MIT.
