Song Han

Song Han serves as an Associate Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 2018, specializing in model compression, pruning, quantization, neural architecture search, hardware acceleration, tiny machine learning, edge AI, mobile vision, and accelerated AI computing. Additionally, Song Han holds the position of Distinguished Scientist at NVIDIA, focusing on the acceleration of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. Academically, Song Han earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Stanford University after obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
