Tom Labonte

Tom Labonte is a Senior NVLink Architect at NVIDIA, where they have been since 2025. Tom has extensive experience in silicon architecture, having worked as a Silicon Architect at Intel Corporation from 2001 to 2015, where they led the architecture development of high-performance on-die interconnects. They also held positions as a Hardware Engineer at Compaq Computer Corporation and as a Hardware Engineering Intern at Digital Equipment Corporation. Currently, Tom is a Principal Engineer in Silicon Architecture at Samsung Semiconductor. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2000.
