Trey Cain is an accomplished Principal SoC Architect at NVIDIA, bringing extensive experience from previous roles at Marvell Semiconductor and Qualcomm, including positions as Director of Engineering for CPU Microarchitecture and Server Performance Team Lead. Key responsibilities at Qualcomm encompassed custom core architecture for mobile applications and performance leadership in datacenter SoCs and CPUs. Prior to Qualcomm, Trey contributed to innovative architectural enhancements at IBM Research, including leading the development of Hardware Transactional Memory support in the POWER architecture. Trey holds a PhD in Computer Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from William & Mary.
