Ujash Shah, Ph.D., is a PhD candidate at UCLA, working under Professors Tim Fisher and Subu Iyer on transient thermal management for high-performance electronic systems. Their research experience encompasses multi-disciplinary and multi-scale approaches, including innovative thermal management techniques for next-gen electronics and computational studies of thermodynamic transport. Previously, Ujash served as a Graduate Student Researcher in various projects and held roles as a Teaching Assistant, mentoring undergraduate students in mechanical engineering. Ujash also has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they graduated with a silver medal. Currently, Ujash is a Senior Thermal Engineer at NVIDIA, contributing to advanced thermal solutions in electronics.
