Vijayakumar Subbu is the Director of Engineering for GPU System Software at NVIDIA, leading the development of GPU kernel drivers compliant with ISO26262 and overseeing product initiatives across various markets, including self-driving cars and embedded AI. With a strong background in system software for chips, Vijayakumar has held significant roles at both NVIDIA and Intel, specializing in BIOS engineering and establishing performance KPIs. Their expertise spans both x86 and ARM architectures, and they have a comprehensive understanding of the chip development cycle from pre-silicon to production. Prior to their current role, they contributed to secure boot firmware and power management for GPUs at NVIDIA.
