Xiaowei Ren

Xiaowei Ren is a Senior Deep Learning Architect at NVIDIA, specializing in GPU platform performance through software and hardware co-design. They previously worked as a Postdoc Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia, focusing on building accelerator chips for sparse neural network training. Xiaowei has held multiple research and internship positions, including roles at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems and the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. They earned a Ph.D. in Computer Architecture from the University of British Columbia, where they published several significant research papers.
