Helen Zhou has worked in the field of product development and management since 2006. Helen began their career as a Senior Scientist at Epitomics INC, an Abcam Company, where they excelled in product development and management, assay development, and project management. During their time at Epitomics, they offered multifaceted guidance and support in target selection, immunogen design, product development and manufacturing including rabbit monoclonal antibodies, ELISA kits, and antibody conjugates. Prior to their time at Epitomics, Helen worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center-UCSF, where they analyzed the role of Notch in head and neck squamous carcinoma. Helen profiled Notch expression level in oral tissue spanning all grades of dysplasia and oral squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and oral cancer cell lines, and determined that the effect of Notch in growth and survival/apoptosis is highly cell-context dependent through analyzing Notch2, Notch1-IC (ICNX) and Notch4-IC (ICN4) function. Helen has been a Product Manager at NVIGEN Inc. since 2014.
Helen Zhou completed their PhD in Biology from the University of California, San Francisco, and they also hold a DDS and MS in Dentistry and Clinical Sciences from Peking University.
