Markus Willert

Markus Willert has worked in the legal and compliance field since 2000. Markus began their career as a Rechtsanwalt/Attorney at Law at several law firms. In 2009, they became a Legal Counsel at Spectris Germany GmbH. From 2013 to 2019, they held the roles of Director Legal & Compliance and Legal Counsel at HBM. Most recently, they were the General Counsel & Head of Compliance at HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær, and is now the Director of Legal and Compliance at NVision Imaging Technologies.

Markus Willert obtained an LL.M. from Boston University School of Law. Markus then studied Rechtswissenschaft at Leipzig University, Technische Universität Dresden, and Heidelberg University. In November 2017, they obtained the CIPP/E certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
