Matthias Pfender

Matthias Pfender has extensive experience in quantum computing and physics, currently serving as the Director and Development Lead for Quantum Computing at NVision Imaging Technologies since January 2022. Previously, Matthias held multiple roles at NVision, including Associate Director and Senior Quantum Optics Physicist. Prior to that, Matthias worked as an Entwicklungsingenieur at Mercedes-Benz AG from April 2019 to December 2021 and conducted doctoral research in quantum sensing and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy at Universität Stuttgart from April 2013 to September 2018. Early in his career, Matthias gained practical experience as a Werkstudent at P3 Systems GmbH from 2008 to 2011. Matthias holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Physics and a Diplom in Physics, both from the University of Stuttgart.
