Daan Moreels

Daan Moreels is a seasoned entrepreneur and industry expert, currently serving as Co-Founder and Executive Board Member at multiple companies including MAGNAX, Axyal Propulsion, and Traxial. Since September 2016, Daan has contributed to MAGNAX, with a focus on advancing technology applications. Daan also co-founded Axyal in June 2021, which specializes in axial flux propulsion systems for aerospace, and Traxial in October 2019, dedicated to developing yokeless axial flux motor technology for electric vehicles. With a background in venture building at Nvisionize and mentoring roles at imec.istart and Ghent University, Daan actively supports tech start-ups and innovation initiatives. Previous experience includes co-founding Cloudalize, a cloud platform for virtual workspaces, and serving in business development at Emerson. Daan holds a Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from KU Leuven.
