Nico Leidecker

Nico Leidecker is an experienced security professional currently serving as the Head of Adversarial Risk Emulation and Simulation at NVISO Security since January 2019, managing the global ARES team and executing TIBER, Red Team, and Purple Team engagements. Previously, Nico held the position of Senior Expert in Software Security & Assessments at NVISO, where responsibilities included leading the Pentesting Team in Germany and overseeing solutions for Web Application Security and Red Teaming. Additional roles include Board Member at Cyber Security Rumble e.V. and a Freelance Security Consultant at necential security, where Nico managed security assessments for various global industries. Earlier career experience includes Senior Security Consultant at Context Information Security Ltd., Penetration Tester at Portcullis Computer Security Ltd., and a Student Assistant at Heidelberg University, where Nico also obtained a BSc in Computer Science.
